What do you think?
Well this site is getting on a bit. With less and less ideas for me to put on it. I have been thinking......
Just what could the the youth of today come up with? What ideas would they have. What would they put on it to make it interesting?
So I am thinking of letting the 2 youngsters of our family have their wicked way with the site.
Yes, I am thinking of letting them loose with the tools, letting them put whatever the hell they want on it (within reason of course). Their own website.
Why?
Well becuase I am running out of ideas to push onto this site now, so more and more it is becoming almost a test site for me. And this could be a 2 way learning curve. One for the kids becuase they get to play with their own site, and 1 for me. I am looking for ideas in other areas, but I am hoping that the ideas that the kids have, just may spark some ideas of my own.
Let me know what you think, either by the chatbox, or by the comments on this news article.
Thanks

Well I have had my machine a few weeks now, and I am starting to get to grips with speed at which it does things.
This is running the following-:
Asus Xtreme striker motherboard QX6850 Core Duo (Quad) - 2.99 ghz 4gb Ram Dual nVidia 8800 Ultra's in SLI mode. Tagan 1100w power supply unit. Asus DVD +-/RW Ram disc All this in a Zalman case.
And it rocks with a 3Dmark06 of 16020, before I start to overclock it.
I am thinking of adding the ZALMAN reserator 3 (water cooling), then pushing the cpu to 3.6, and the GPU's up a notch or three

So my new computer should be setting of for its new home (my house) on Thursday. Its apparently being delivered on Friday, not sure what time.
Just to give an idea of spec -:
Motherboard: Asus Striker Extreme nForce 680 (supporting Scalable Link Interface (SLI) mode - very important bit for later in this spec)
RAM : 4gb DDR2 - well I'm gonna be giving my new baby a lot of commands, so it will have a lot to remember.
Processor : QX6850 2.99 Ghz Quad Core (so this is basically 4x 2,99Ghz), this means that it can add up quicker than that woman on countdown!
Graphics Card: Sitting firmly on the Asus m/board is not one, but 2 - yes 2 geForce 8800 Ultra in SLI (there it is again) mode. Basically this means it can draw graphics on the screen with both hands instead of one. So it should be quicker at drawing a sheep than that bloke on that art program for kids! This [link] is an older card but you get the idea
Storage : 1tb (terrabyte) (i.e. 2x 500gb SATA). Well if my CPU and the 2 8800's get together and start drawing and counting sheep, then I'm gonna need somewhere to store all the pictures aren't I
Power : Tagan 1100w silent. The PSU (power supply unit) needs to be big enough to handle all them sheep, so I opted for a small nuclear power station.
Operating System : Windows Vista Ultimate 64. Well it'll do for starters, but very soon I will be dual booting this with Windows XP (my currently favoured os). So I will have a choice of which OS to use......hmmm decisions decisions......
I will upload a pic of CHAOS when it gets here (assuming I can get on this bloody site).
